The 2010 TVAA Multicultural Exhibition includes three photographs by Jan Partin. Two of Jan Partin's abstract photographs, "Colors of Rust #1" and "Colors of Rust #2", are included in the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco Juried Photography Show. The exhibit runs April 1 through May 1, 2010, at the Frisco Arts Center, 6827 Main Street, Frisco. The Arts Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 to 3. "City Garage" by Jan Partin took Third Place in the Professional Composited Division of the 2010 City of Richardson Photography Contest. Jan Partin's "Windows To Our Souls" has been selected for the American Juried Art Salon 2010 winter exhibition. The exhibit may be seen in the Front Line Gallery at www.artjury.com. Having been selected to show in more than two consecutive AJAS exhibitions, Partin has earned Master Gallery status, and her work may also be seen in the Master Gallery section of the website.

"Best of 2009" traveled to Visual Image Fine Art Publishing for the month of January 2010. Jan Partin's three works, "Patiently Waiting," "Blue Abstract #1," and "In Dreams" were included in the month long exhibition at Visual Image Fine Art Publishing located at Midway and Proton, Dallas, Texas.

Three of Jan Partin's artworks, "Blue Abstract #1", "In Dreams", and "Patiently Waiting", were included in the "Best of 2009" Exhibition at the TVAA Downtown Gallery during December of 2009. In January of 2010 this exhibition continued until February 6, 2010 at Visual Image Fine Art Publishing.

Three of Jan Partin's photographs are included in the 2009 Art Exhibit & Sale: "Remember When" sponsored by Aurora Images Art Studio and The Allen Heritage Guild. Juror Lisa Carol McNamara awarded second place in the Photography Division to Jan Partin's "Cheetah" in the 2009 Irving Arts Association Wildlife Exhibition. The show is on view at the Jaycee Center for the Arts, 2000 W. Airport Freeway, Irving through October 30.

Three of Jan Partin's photographs will be included in the TVAA "Autumn Themes" Exhibition. Jan Partin's "City Garage" is awarded an Honerable Mention and will be on display during the 2009 State Fair of Texas that begins later this month and runs through October.

Juror Barbara Hagle awarded Jan Partin's "Night Heron" first place in the Photography Division of the Grand Prairie Arts Council 2009 Open Juried Art Show. The show is on view in the Grand Prairie Memorial Library, 901 Conover Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051 until September 25th.

"TVAA Presents Nonobjective Artwork" will be hosted by Decor Art and Frame Gallery between September 1 and October 29, 2009. The Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas has accepted three of Jan Partin's photographs for inclusion in the 2009 Summer Exhibition. City Gallery will include Jan Partin's "Trash" (an abstract photograph of an old abandoned International Harvester pickup truck) in the one-evening show "Art and Garbage" on September 4, 2008. The show will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Bishop Arts District, Dallas, Texas in the alley between The Soda Gallery and Artisans Collective. The theme was chosen to highlight the upcoming vote before the Dallas City Council regarding adoption of a living wage for city sanitation workers and in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King's fight to gain a living wage for sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jan Partin's "Blue Abstract #1" has been chose by juror Judy Youngblood to be included in the Visual Arts Society of Texas 3rd Annual 125-Mile Exhibition. This photograph is one of 33 accepted works chosen from 158 entries submitted to this regional show. Jan Partin's photograph of a 1938 Henny-Packard hearse is a finalist in the Photographer's Forum Annual Spring Photography Contest and will be included in the Best of Photography Annual 2008. Approximately 3,000 photographers from around the world participated in this contest.

"Spirit Flight" by Jan Partin will be included in The Creative Call: The Response of Artists to the Flow of Spirit exhibition presented by City Gallery in collaboration with Cathedral of Hope. Opening reception: May 10, 2008. The exhibition runs through June 22, 2008 at Cathedral of Hope.

Jan Partin wins the Photography Award in the C.C. Young 2008 Art is Ageless Exhibition with "Blue Abstract #1." "Pelicans at White Rock Lake" is an honorable mention. The exhibition opens with a reception on April 12, 2008 at The Point Center for Arts and Education at C.C. Young and runs throughout the month.

Two photographs by Jan Partin have been accepted into the 2008 Heard Photographers Club Contest and Exhibition. "Roseate Spoonbill" and "Immature Crested Caracara" have been included in the exhibition held in Laughlin Hall at the Heard Museum, McKinney, Texas. The exhibition runs March 2 through 28, 2008.
