• Texas Visual Arts Association 2010 Multicultural Exhibition

    The 2010 TVAA Multicultural Exhibition includes three photographs by Jan Partin.   • The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco Juried Photography Show

    Two of Jan Partin's abstract photographs, "Colors of Rust #1" and "Colors of Rust #2", are included in the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco Juried Photography Show. The exhibit runs April 1 through May 1, 2010, at the Frisco Arts Center, 6827 Main Street, Frisco. The Arts Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 to 3.   • 2010 City of Richardson Photography Contest & Exhibition

    "City Garage" by Jan Partin took Third Place in the Professional Composited Division of the 2010 City of Richardson Photography Contest. Partin's "Night Heron" took an Honorable Mention in the Professional Wildlife Divison. The show is on exhibit in the Richardson Library throughFebruary 22.   • American Juried Art Salon

    Jan Partin's "Windows To Our Souls" has been selected for the American Juried Art Salon 2010 winter exhibition. The exhibit may be seen in the Front Line Gallery at www.artjury.com. Having been selected to show in more than two consecutive AJAS exhibitions, Partin has earned Master Gallery status, and her work may also be seen in the Master Gallery section of the website.

    "Best of 2009" traveled to Visual Image Fine Art Publishing for the month of January 2010. Jan Partin's three works, "Patiently Waiting," "Blue Abstract #1," and "In Dreams" were included in the month long exhibition at Visual Image Fine Art Publishing located at Midway and Proton, Dallas, Texas.

  • Texas Visual Arts Association "Best of 2009" Exhibition

    Three of Jan Partin's artworks, "Blue Abstract #1", "In Dreams", and "Patiently Waiting", were included in the "Best of 2009" Exhibition at the TVAA Downtown Gallery during December of 2009. In January of 2010 this exhibition continued until February 6, 2010 at Visual Image Fine Art Publishing.

  • "Remember When" Art Exhibit & Sale

    Three of Jan Partin's photographs are included in the 2009 Art Exhibit & Sale: "Remember When" sponsored by Aurora Images Art Studio and The Allen Heritage Guild. "City Garage", "When Gas Was Cheap" and "'38 Ford" will be on view at The Allen Heritage Center Museum for six weekends beginning November 7 and ending December 20.     Three of Jan Partin's photogrtaphs have been accepted into the National League of American Pen Women, Dallas Chapter's Expressions 2009 Visual Arts Competition.   • Texas Visual Arts Association "Autumn Themes" Exhibition

    Three of Jan Partin's photographs will be included in the TVAA "Autumn Themes" Exhibition.   • 2009 State Fair of Texas

    Jan Partin's "City Garage" is awarded an Honerable Mention and will be on display during the 2009 State Fair of Texas that begins later this month and runs through October.

  • Grand Prairie Arts Council 2009 Open Juried Art Show

  • Art and Garbage

    City Gallery will include Jan Partin's "Trash" (an abstract photograph of an old abandoned International Harvester pickup truck) in the one-evening show "Art and Garbage" on September 4, 2008. The show will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Bishop Arts District, Dallas, Texas in the alley between The Soda Gallery and Artisans Collective. The theme was chosen to highlight the upcoming vote before the Dallas City Council regarding adoption of a living wage for city sanitation workers and in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King's fight to gain a living wage for sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee.

  • Best of Photography Annual 2008

    Jan Partin's photograph of a 1938 Henny-Packard hearse is a finalist in the Photographer's Forum Annual Spring Photography Contest and will be included in the Best of Photography Annual 2008. Approximately 3,000 photographers from around the world participated in this contest.

  • 2008 Art is Ageless Exhibition

    Jan Partin wins the Photography Award in the C.C. Young 2008 Art is Ageless Exhibition with "Blue Abstract #1." "Pelicans at White Rock Lake" is an honorable mention.
